How does Bee Venom activate on my skin?
The Bee Venom contained in Black Current product is used to fool the skin into thinking it has been lightly stung by a bee. This, in turn, stimulates the production of the naturally occurring chemicals collagen and elastin, thereby creating a tightening and smoothing effect. The effects are cumulative, that is, the longer you use it the more obvious the effects will be over the period. Black Current is one of the most concentrated bees venom mask. After applying bee venom mask you may feel plumping, tightening, sting effect or a tautening effect can generally be felt soon after application you may also experience redness on your skin, please allow up to 35 minutes for your skin to calm and revitalised after rinsing with water.
How do you extract the Venom from the bees?
Do the Bees die in the process? Black Current only obtain ingredients from certified beekeepers with sustainable growing, Bee Venom are extract by placing a special glass surface alongside the Bee Hive and a weak electrical current is run through it, which encourages the Bees to gently sting the glass. The tiny amount of Bee Venom is collected from that glass surface. Because the bees are stinging a surface they cannot penetrate, their abdomens and sting remain intact and no effect applied to the Bee in the process.
